Preparing for Your Hospital Stay
On the day of admission
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled admission time.
Report to the Admissions Desk.
If you become unwell before admission (for example fever, vomiting or diarrhoea), telephone the hospital immediately.
After admission:
- A nurse will check your blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
- Your identity will be confirmed using your full name and date of birth.
- You may be asked the same questions several times to ensure patient safety.
Before discharge:
- You will receive discharge instructions.
- A medication list will be provided.
- Follow-up appointments will be arranged if necessary.
